Editorial policy
Sourcing. Every attendance figure, exhibitor count and square-footage number we publish comes from the organiser's own materials or from established trade press, and we name the source in the text. We do not publish estimates as facts.
Projections. Pre-show expectations and post-show results are different things and we word them differently. "Organisers expected more than 6,500" is not the same sentence as "the show drew 6,500."
Quotes. We do not publish a quote we did not obtain or verify in a published source, and we attribute every quote by name and title.
Our position. We argue openly that buyers and suppliers should attend these shows. That is an editorial position, not a hidden one, and we keep it separate from reported fact. Where we are making an argument, we say so.
Independence and funding.
Corrections. If we get something wrong, write to and we will correct it and note the correction on the article.
